1. The service

MCQMED is a free question bank to help Sri Lankan medical students practise for the Final MBBS and ERPM examinations. We offer it free of charge and may change, add or remove features at any time.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please provide a valid email and keep your information accurate. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use

To keep MCQMED fair and available for everyone, you agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, harvest, download in bulk, or redistribute the questions, answers or explanations.
• Access the service through automated means, bots, or scripts.
• Attempt to manipulate marks or the leaderboard, or interfere with the service or its security.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying database.
• Share your account or use the service to build a competing product.

We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

4. Content and intellectual property

The questions, answers, explanations and other content on MCQMED are provided for your personal exam preparation only. They remain the property of MCQMED and its contributors, and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

5. Donations

MCQMED is free. Donations are voluntary, processed by PayHere, and help cover running costs. Donations are not payment for access and are generally non-refundable.

6. Educational use — not clinical advice

MCQMED is an educational revision aid. While we review and correct answers, we cannot guarantee that every question, answer or explanation is free of error, and content must not be relied upon for clinical decisions or patient care. Always defer to your curriculum, supervisors and authoritative sources. Using MCQMED does not guarantee any exam result.

7. Limitation of liability

MCQMED is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
