Who we are

MCQMED is a free question bank that helps Sri Lankan medical students practise for the Final MBBS and ERPM examinations. If you have any privacy questions, contact us through our contact page.

What we collect

We keep this to the minimum needed to run the service:

We do not ask for or store payment card details. Donations are handled entirely by PayHere on their own secure checkout.

How we use your data

We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your account and practice data are stored using Supabase, a secure hosting provider, and the site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We apply reasonable measures to protect your data, including access controls so that your private data (such as your bookmarks and results) is only accessible to you.

Who we share it with

We only share data with the service providers needed to run MCQMED — currently our hosting/database provider (Supabase) and our donation processor (PayHere), and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (such as light or dark mode). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights and choices

Children

MCQMED is intended for medical students and graduates. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top when we do.
